Our standard photo session is the foundation of our service. It is also where your visual marketing efforts begin, with the purpose of not only making positive first impressions, benefiting from the excitement of a first-time visit, but also providing an added value to your clients or listing. We make every effort to not only beautifully photograph room space but also to provide enough images to capture and portray the overall flow of the home.
We photograph using a method known as High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography, shooting in multiple exposures per image, and layered in post-processing. This is a very effective method to compress the entire range of light, from shadows to highlights into a finalized image. Why is this important? Think of the human eye. It can adjust the opening in the retina as you look around from brights to darks, allowing you to see details. A camera cannot do that with a single exposure. HDR photography is the process of layering multiple exposures at varying time increments into very naturally pleasing results.
However, unlike most other companies, Digital Tour Host also enhances HDR photography with off-camera light sources, furthering our photography. The added effort goes a long way!
Standard Pricing is based on increments of square footage as found on public tax records, in terms of “Up To”. We do not charge by number of photographs nor by time spent on locations. This is just easier and offers better results.

Interior Design Photo Session: Starting $250 per hour
In the circumstance the space to be photographed is for purposes other than for sale or rent and is for promotional purposes such as interior design and is intended for web or print publication or advertising, the photo session will be hourly, starting at $250/hr. This photo session will highlight points from general space to specific features or product. Additional studio lighting will be provided as necessary. *Terms for additional image rights maybe required.

- Single Spherical/360° Panoramas: As an alternative to an elaborate 3D tour, panos can be placed in key locations to highlight spacial flow of an area, allowing the viewer to “look around” rather than “walk around”. Panoramas are offered for $20 each, three panos for $45 ($15 each), or one pano per room for $10 each, starting at five or more. *This option will not generate floor plans.
- Floor Plans without 3D Tours: 2¢ per sq foot measured. So, 2000 sq ft = $40.00
- Drone Photography: $200.00 Drone photos are also in multiple-exposure HDR and the session includes multiple front angles, multiple rear angles, elevated images, and images of the surrounding area looking outward from the property.
- Walk-Thru Video: $150 for two minutes. We use Nikon Z6ii full-frame mirrorless cameras on a gimbal to record a walk-thru, real-time experience and is then uploaded to the picture slide show. Video files can also be added to the social media platforms of your choice. A discount package of both drone photography with a walk-thru video is $300.00. (The Internet package is required for best results.)
- Twilight Photography: $225. This covers usually an hour or more on site and series of images are taken repeatedly as the sun sets to ensure the best results possible as it is impossible to predict the best possible moment for desired results.
- MP4 Video Conversion: $15 branded or unbranded or $20 for both. This converts the online presentation into a downloadable MP4 video file.
- Virtual Staging: There are many competing companies that specialize specifically in virtual staging at very affordable pricing. Digital Tour Host does not believe in providing outsourced services as a middle-man and will be happy to provided recommendation where to enhance photography with virtual staging.
Added Fees:
Not all homes have basements and they are not counted in taxable square footage, the basis for DTH pricing. Fully Finished Basements with multiple rooms which require three or more shots for photographic coverage will be charged the next incremental square footage size up. (So, for example, a 2200 sq ft home with a fully furnished basement will be charged at the 3500 sq ft price point.)
Lakefront or Landscaped Properties requiring Special Attention to features: $95.00 This may entail walking off-property and photographing from across a lake, for example.
Both Basement and Additional Exterior Work Together: $135.00
Duplexes: Standard fee applies to the overall square footage plus $35 per extra unit.
Condo/Townhouse Community Amenities: For Communities that offer ball fields or courts, pool areas, social outdoor areas, and a notable community sign in addition to the listing to be photographed, these amenities can also be photographed for $25.00
Minimum Fees:
Photo Session for distances greater than 35 miles or one-hour drive from Readington (Kinnelon, Route 23 and north, or south of Trenton), for Hudson County/Urban Cities, downtown Newark, NJ: $245 minimum for a single listing, including slide show. (Waived for two listings or more in a single day.)
Photo Session out of state: Minimum $300.00
