David Nelson is the founder of Digital Tour Host, a Northern and Central New Jersey real estate media company specializing in professional photography, immersive virtual tours, cinematic video, drone imaging, and property marketing services.
But long before real estate media, David’s foundation was built in the arts.
A graduate of Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance (Clarinet), David has always been driven by creativity, emotion, precision, and human connection. Musician, swing dancer, trainer, coach, pharmacy technician, photographer, and longtime ski patrol volunteer are all chapters of the same story — one centered around communication, intuition, service, and dedication.

David often says the same is true of photography.
“Photography is the art of capturing light. No matter the subject — a person, an object, or a space — what happens with the light is everything. But beyond the technical, the final image or video clip must convey something meaningful through mood, emotion, and perspective. That begins with shooting with intent.”
What began years ago as a passion for landscape and travel photography evolved naturally into architectural imagery, real estate marketing, event photography, and cinematic visual storytelling.
Alongside his creative work, David has also spent decades serving the community — including over 34 years volunteering on ski patrol and years working as a self-taught pharmacy technician helping people one-on-one. That same sense of responsibility and personal care continues through every client interaction today.
